Usenet Search

Searching usenet

You can search usenet newsgroups for files you're looking to download a few different ways. There are multiple free usenet search engines you can use to find files on usenet. Some examples include: ngindex.com, binsearch.info, etc

However, these free options are far inferior to the built in SuperSearch function of Newsleecher. The best way find what you're looking for is to use the SuperSearch function which is as simple as typing in "sample tv show" and it will search all of usenet for "sample tv show" and bring it up in groups such as alt.binaries.tv.

When a file is uploaded to usenet it will only remain there for up to 200 days and then it is no longer retained. This is known as usenet retention and allows content to stay current while maintaining a system of parameters.
